Create and Connect
The Makerverse is a hands-on, project-based group where participants bring their pop-culture interests to life through creative projects. From cosplay and prop design to model building, comics, world-building, and custom projects, this group is all about turning ideas into something real.
About the group
The Makerverse is designed for neurodivergent people who love creating and learning by doing. Participants work on individual and shared projects in a supportive, low-pressure environment, with guidance to help ideas move from concept to completion
Along the way, participants are supported to build practical life and work-ready skills, including:
- Planning and breaking projects into manageable steps
- Budgeting and resource management
- Organisation and time management
- Problem-solving and creative thinking
- Teamwork, collaboration, and communication
- Confidence in pursuing personal interests and goals
Participants can work independently or alongside others, with flexibility to engage at their own pace. Sharing interests is encouraged but never forced.
Who the group is for:
- Young neurodivergent people aged 16 - 30 years old
- Those with an interest in pop culture, gaming, comics, cosplay, model making, or creative projects
